WPPI Conference and Trade Show

I am super excited to be attending this year's WPPI conference in Las Vegas, and will be there from the 15th through the 18th. I'm looking forward to the trade show, to bring home lots of new goodies for myself...new lenses, filters, photoshop applications, etc.  I'll also be on the lookout for new vendors while I'm there; it's important to me to make sure I am using the highest quality lab/printers, and am offering the highest quality products to my customers.  I've got my eye on some new products I might be offering in the near future. 

While there, I'll also be attending several seminars. I'm always looking to expand my knowledge base and stay on top of current trends. There are SO many great classes to pick from, I am having trouble deciding. No matter what I choose, I'm sure it will be great.

One Hot Mama…

Mona wanted to take some boudoir pictures for her boyfriend for Valentine's Day. They were meant to be a surprise but he found out... and then offered his home for the photo shoot. Awesome. Perfect background. Mona said that she had never done any modeling before, but I couldn't believe it. She was a beautiful woman and by the end of the evening, she seemed a total pro.

the Fam Bam

I have absolutely NO idea what "fam bam" actually means... all I know is that it means something important to this group. These folks have been friends for 10+ years now... but life sometimes gets in the way and its more and more difficult for them to all get together. This time around, they decided that they wanted photos of themselves together. (Enter ME.) 

We headed to Old Town Tustin and had an absolute blast. They are quite entertaining and energetic.  We were all pretty worn out by the end of the photo shoot. But it was soooooo worth it!

Senior Portraits

Bright and early Saturday morning, I met up with Anna for her senior portrait session. Though she has actually already graduated from high school, she never had the chance to take photos for the occasion. So we hit the beach(es). Not only did we take her shots, but we managed to squeeze in a mini workout session as we hiked up and down a few hills, went rock climbing, and dodged the waves. Nice!

a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

My husband is a Star-Wars nut. Seriously. That being said, it's easier to follow with this... he is a member of the 501st, which is a group of people that gather together wearing their outfits for the greater good. They make appearances at conventions, personal events, etc. And any money collected through the events get donated to charity.

My husband made his own Storm Trooper armor and wanted some decent pictures of him in it. So we bravely went to a nearby area and took some shots. A few families wandered by, and you should have seen how wide the children's eyes got. It was great fun!
